Abstract: The overall aim of the study was to improve the management of chronic nausea in people with cancer by developing evidence-based pragmatic aids, and training clinicians to use them. This involved a multi-step process with several components. Components one and two consisted of a systematic review and development of a clinical practice guideline respectively. The third component involved pilot testing the draft evidence-based tool for assessment and treatment of nausea in patients with advanced cancer, with the aims of assessing the utility of the tool for clinicians, and direction for educational strategies to implement the tool among a wider clinical population.
